There is a lot of action to keep you on your toes and ending to keep you wanting more. That feels like progress to me. In what world would that happen? Regardless, the story is well done and a fun read. Relationships are further developed and Lilith becomes closer to her men Raph, Dante, Aiden, Vik and Liam. I'm the last succubus, the last serpent, and they're going to regret having ever tried to put me down. I haven't seen him in a week, not since that night, and I'm worried he's left for good.
I just love it While I liked the 1st 3 in the series - this one aggravated me on several levels. Lilith is also trying to balance her relationships with the guys which is no easy feat Full of excitement danger and intrigue I was glued to the page, there are twists turns and a little steam, I am loving the storyline immensely and am so looking forward to the Lilith and her guys are still in London, and Lilith is still learning about this new world she has found herself in. I had Liam holding my right hand, Raphael looking like some kind of human God, Vikram holding court about the way things were done at the Alexandria, and Aiden stroking my left knee beneath the table. I devour these books and while they're not left on a cliffhanger I still want to immediately pick up the next book and continue reading I loved getting to see more of Kyle and also watching Lilith's and Dante's relationship grow as they try to navigate the feelings they have for one another The plot has been consistently building and I just can't wait for the next book to see what happens next Taney Morgan spins a stunning web of love and deception throughout this entire series that I can't put down once I start reading. Still in London, they have all worked together to repair the damage to the center that was wrecked by the cultist who are hunting them.

However Book 5 continued a bad trend by the author of using more and more cryptic statements or character absences to force the 'plot'. Lilith and her men are still involved in hunting the sinister group that attacked the Alexandria but Lilith also has other problems to deal with. While in Paris, Lilith and her men will face some new dangers, and learn some buried secrets that some have tried to wipe completely from history.
So he decides that their best is to split up. I had thought about it. A cult of unknown power and influence is after me, and they aren't afraid to hurt and kill other people to get to me, but I'm sick of running from them and relying on others to hide me. I had the impression that labeling the series as part of a 'type' - ie Reverse Harem Urban Fantasy - would place the story in the wider Romance genre. Two mentors are still missing, someone is synthesizing a drug made from the raw energy all supernatural creatures possess and selling it to others for a cheap thrill, and I haven't heard a peep from the group of fanatics looking to kill every single female supernatural on the planet, which worries me. The sixth book in Tansey Morgan's flagship reverse harem series is almost here, and nothing is ever going to be the same for Lilith and her men. Things could have been so much better for me if I had turned sooner.

So much drama in poor lilith's life. Well written, action packed, strong characters, an author's imagination run riot with the supernatural to great effect - what's not to love? It had me on the edge of my seat through almost the whole book. He's spent like a week teaching her! With the help of Dante, Leo, the Keeper, and the four gorgeous men who see me as some kind of queen, I'm going to start pulling at the threads that keep these mysteries hidden and see what falls out. It's time to take the fight to them, once and for all.
